Interface Summer Tour Update
Hello everyone. I am writing to you from Kingsland, TX. We are currently at Zane Elliott’s Grandparents house. A lot has happened since the last time you heard from us and I am going to do my best to tell you about all of it.
We concluded our second week of camp in North Carolina. Both weeks combined, we saw over 200 students answer a call into ministry. It’s always amazing to see young people surrendering their lives to God. Those moments are really what it’s all about.
We wrapped up in NC on a Saturday evening and Sunday morning we pulled out early to make 1001-mile journey to Ogden, IA to start a camp the following Monday afternoon. We arrived late Sunday night, caught a few hours of sleep, and started unloading at 8 the next morning. We had our first service at 1. When we started worship the speaker hadn’t arrived yet, Pastor Heath (Iowa DYD) was ready to come up when we were done, but to our surprise the speaker arrived just in time. Mark Brewer came up on stage to conclude worship with a prayer, we were all so surprised to see him it was hard to keep a straight face. Mark was giving all of us little smirks, so that didn’t help the situation at all. We made it through and exchanged hugs and moved on with service. The rest of the week was phenomenal. Working with Pastor Heath and Pastor Mark definitely pushed us and taught us a lot. Pastor Mark did an awesome job throughout the week teaching students how to live for Jesus after they left camp. A lot of lessons on real life application, it was great. We also had the chance to team up with students and play in a few volley ball tournaments, as well as ride zip lines, roll around in “Zorb” balls, (big inflatable clear balls that will hold a grown man inside of it), ride go-carts, play Frisbee golf, and mini-golf. We got to hang with the NCU Crew as well throughout the week made some great friends there. It was an awesome week of connecting with students and building relationships. At the end of the week so many students came up and said that during camp they were able to go deeper in worship than they ever had. So awesome!
Camp ended on Friday and we packed up and drove to Oskaloosa, IA where we spent the weekend. We had an awesome July 4th and Sunday service with the Dotson family. We attended a parade on Saturday in What Cheer, IA. It had a total of 41 tractors in the parade. Hoorah for corn and Iowa!!! We grilled out that afternoon and then went to the fireworks at the Oskaloosa Fair Grounds. It felt like home for many of us… The Sunday service went really well. There were quite a few students there that had been at camp and it was awesome to see them worshipping with the same enthusiasm they had at camp. Again, those moments are so cool.
After service on Sunday we hit the road again, heading to Tennessee to meet up with the Hawkins family. We arrived late that night in Covington, TN, at the home of Chase Hawkins. After surfacing on Monday we spent some time with his family and that evening we went to dinner in downtown Memphis. It was a real treat for all of us. Good southern food, awesome live music, an excellent night of relaxation. We did a service that Wednesday night at Covington Assembly of God where Chases dad is the Lead Pastor. It was a night of worship and speaking. God really moved that night. People gave testimonies afterword of being healed emotionally, of finding God for the first time; it was a great night to say the least. We had a lot of fun hanging out with students and families after service. Pizza, volley ball, slip & slides, lots of fun and no injuries thankfully.
We pulled out of Covington early on Friday morning and find ourselves here now in Kingsland, TX. We are leaving tomorrow to drive to South Padre Island, TX to start a week of camp.
We are looking forward to this week for a few reasons. This is the camp Zane grew up attending and also found out about Master’s Commission at, so it will be cool for him to be back and to have to chance to pour into students lives. Also, we are expecting our New Album late this week! We will be mailing out all of the pre-orders early the following week. So we are super excited to have this new project on the road with us finally. It has been cool to see God using the new songs on the road everywhere we have been thus far. We can’t wait to see how He is going to use them in the future.

** I have to insert here that everywhere we have been has treated us with such amazing hospitality. We are all looking into Gym memberships to cut the extra pounds when we get back from tour…

Please continue to pray for us as we travel and minister. Please pray specifically for health, a few of the team members have been dealing with some pretty heavy allergy symptoms. Below are the rest of our tour dates for the summer. Again if you are close we would love to see you on the road, it’s always nice to see familiar faces.

Summer Tour '09
Hello everyone. Happy summer to you all! We are writing to you from Hendersonville, NC at Camp Courtney. We are in the first of eight weeks of our summer tour. This year we will be covering a lot of country, going everywhere from North Carolina to New Mexico. We are very excited about what God wants to do through us in student’s lives this summer. The majority of our tour is taken up with leading worship at camps and doing weekend services.
This summer is a little different in comparison to our past tours. The major difference is that one of our worship leaders is no longer with us. Jessica Maupin and her husband Jason Maupin, have felt God’s call to move their ministry to Phoenix, Arizona (elevateindustries.com). We are so excited for them and all that God has in store for their future.
Due to Jessica’s moving on we have brought on a new member to interface…(drum roll please) Adam Baker will be singing with us from here on out and is doing great thus far on tour. In addition to Adam, this summer we are joined by Matt Knaggs(Jessica’s younger brother) and Chase Hawkins. Matt is our Merch and Powerpoint man while Chase is our sound guy. We are so excited to see what our summer ‘Bro Fest’ will bring us!
If you are anywhere close, come out and see us on the road. Our tour dates are as follows…

June 17-27 Camp Courtney, Hendersonville, NC
June 29-July 3- Iowa AG district Camp
July 5 Oskaloosa Assembly, Oskaloosa, IA
July 6-10 Missouri / Texas
July 12th Dallas Service
July 13-17 South Padre Island Camp
July 19th St Paul’s, Hobbs, NM
July 22 Hobbs Christian Center
July 26 Hobbs Christian Center
July 29 Dallas, TX
August 2 Marianna, FL

Now, for more exciting news…In July our new self-titled album will be released! The heart and purpose of this album was to make a CD where every song was fully useable and functional in a worship setting. We spent three weeks on lyrics alone! When released, the album will be $15.00, but for a limited time you can pre-order the CD at fmmc.com for only $10.00!

Please keep us in your prayers as we explore and experience all that God has for the new album and our 2009 Summer Tour.

Interface Update 3.3.09!
Hi everyone! Its been awhile since our last update & I'm sure that alot has happened with you as it has with us!

The last time we updated you was way back in November! Things have been going well with us since then!

We were able to be apart of a few things with our women's pastor - Pastor Connie. We lead worship for her for a healing service that she did on a Friday night in our sanctuary & God was able to use her to heal multiple people completely! We also played for her women's conference - this year it was on Sanibel Island at a resort (it was really rough :) We were able to relax & really have a great time just being able to lead worship for those ladies who were so hungry for more of God. I was personally challenged by their pursuit of Him and God really did a lot in my heart during that weekend!

We just got back from being on the road for 3 weeks out west! We were able to play one set at both of the 2 Master's Commission conferences this year - in Orlando and in Dallas. What a privilege it was for us to be able to be leading all of the MC's in the nation into God's presence! We had a great time meeting new people, seeing old friends, and being able to share the music God has given us with MC. We met a guy named "Curvine" who played at the conferences as well & his music is incredible! You should definitely check out his myspace. He's just out on his own, traveling & doing services, concerts, anything he can do to minister. If you have him in at your church, I guarantee you won't be disappointed - you can feel God through his music...and it's not worship music, but he uses it to reach people we could never reach. check him out: www.myspace.com/curvine

We were also able to play at a few churches in Dallas, Tempe & Hobbs, NM. In Hobbs, we did the whole service - a worship night - and Joel gave a salvation message/altar call for the first time in his life - he was nervous, but God used him so powerfully! I would say at least 15 people met in the back with the leaders to accept Christ! It was an incredible night.

We also had a really good time in general on this trip - we were able to stay with a family in Vicksburg, MS who cooked us Jambalya, Crawfish, and Gumbo & they let us ride their horses & play rock band until we were sick of it! They were such wonderful hosts! We also went to visit a lot of the historical sights in vicksburg & Paul was able to debut his new song....check it out on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqiAj050_BQ

We also visited the Grassy Knoll, where JFK was shot, learned about some conspiracy theories there, went to Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico - 4 miles of cave walking! We were able to experience Nippa Hut, Cotton Castle, Shiloh & DaShawn, shooting guns, and Zanes entire family & all the food they fed us in Hobbs.

Some random things we experienced: Joel fell off of a horse but he cowboyed up & got right back on; Jack & zanes dog - enough said; Paul: his first crawfish experience (he was afraid to even look at them), the picture Sam took of him at the spot JFK was shot in which he acted like he was dead; Sam & the gourds that he thought were eggs all over the ground....and many, many more!!

As always, we thank you guys so much for your support & friendship! We love you all!

2-6-09 Update!
Hello everyone and happy 2009 to you! It's been a while since we have given you an update so we just wanted to bring you all up to speed with what's been going on with Interface. The last few months have been a bit more low key in comparison to our usual crazy schedule, but it has been good for us. However, we still played at a few events locally. We were a part of a retreat here in North Fort Myers where we were able to work with Jessica's husband, Jason Maupin. He did an amazing job and we love any chance we get to minister with him. As well, this past weekend, we were a part of the Women's Retreat for our home church. We worked with Pastor Connie Weisel, the Women's Ministries Pastor at FAOG, a dear friend of ours who we went to Honduras with last April. We were so blessed to be a part of that event.
Coming up on the calendar for us are both Master's Commission Conferences, first in Orlando next week and then in Fort Worth, TX, the following week. You can check the calendar on FMMC.com as well as our MySpace, for exact dates and more details. Also on our Myspace, (Myspace.com/interfacefl) you have to go check out our latest release. It's a single titled, "Yours Forever." We are super excited about this song and have already seen God use it in an awesome way. Check it out and let us know what you think. Be sure to watch the interface"TV" while you're on the page, also...
Thank you all for your continued prayers for us, we would not be able to do what we do without your support. Please be in prayer for us over the next few months as we continue to seek God for His plan for us and also while we continue to write music. We simply want to be a tool that challenges and teaches this generation what it means to serve and be completely in love with our Great God!
Love you all!

11.24.08 Update!
We hope that all of you are doing well & getting ready for a wonderful Christmas season...is it just us or does it seem like they're trying to get the Christmas spirit going really early this year?? We were in Northern Florida this past weekend and we saw Santa at a gas station gassing up his rv - of course he was sort of skinny and dressed in sweats, but we swear it was him!!!

So much has happened since our last update that there's no way to fill you in on everything! But we'll give you the gist of it. At the beginning of October we left to go on the road for a month. During October, we played at the Wisconsin & Minnesota district youth conventions and we also did school assemblies with Reggie.

The youth conventions were an incredible time of worship! It's always powerful when you get together with that many people to unite & spread the fame of our God!!! We were able to play one of our brand new worship songs at the conventions - so new that our FMMC family hadn't even heard it yet & it's not on a CD! It's called Yours Forever & students have really been getting into it (keep checking our myspace cuz we're working on a recording to throw up there soon).

For most of us, our favorite part of Fall Tour was the school assemblies. We were able to go into schools & rock their faces off during the day....and then at night invite them to come back & share the message of Jesus with them. We want to tell you 3 stories from the schools:

Carlos. One of the days we went to alternative schools. The students at these schools are the ones that get kicked out of school. We met a Carlos at one of these schools. He was alone. One of the guys introduced himself to Carlos & asked him to come back that night. Carlos came - he came early & was just sitting there watching us set up & sound check. The guys were talking to him a little before the service & they remembered his name. At the end of the service he came up to the altar & gave his life to God. Joel was able to pray with him & he gave Reggie all of his drugs that night. So, we reluctantly had to pack up & say goodbye...but 2 days later we walked up on the stage to play at MN Convention and he was right by the stage saying hi to us. He worshipped God so intensely and had a life-changing weekend. So - Carlos was sitting in school one day with no purpose with no idea that God was about to change his entire life around & give him a purpose! And 2 days later he found himself in an arena with students from all over Minnesota lifting up the name of our famous God!

Hayley. One of the days that we did schools in LaCrosse, the night rally was right before a football game & we only had 30 minutes to do the whole thing - message, music & altar call. It was so quick, but students were crying & giving their lives to God at the altars 20 minutes after we started! Hayley was there that night. We didn't meet her. But a week later at the Wisconsin youth convention, she came and she gave us a letter. Here is part of it: "When you played in the theater before the game is when it hit me - your music and Reggie's words together...it's like a double bam! And then there's tonight...November the first. The night that I became free. It's the meaning behind your songs and how we're calling God through music. You have shown me that its the meaning behind the words that count. You have shown me what it's like to have faith and passion behind what you do. Thank you." So again....Hayley was just going to school one day with no idea that God was about to rock her world through a 30 minute pre-game rally & a youth convention!! But now she will forever be changed!

Sue. She is a youth pastor. Her husband is a pastor of their church. She takes care of her family while she supports her husband and does full time youth pastoring. She was an inspiration to us. The love she has for those students is evident to everyone around her. We don't think she gives herself enough credit! She had us come in and hosted us for a day to do schools in her area because she had such a passion for the students in her town. We pray that God will give us the amount of love that she has for students. We also pray that He will continue to give her strength & even more love so that others can be blessed like we were!

Those are just 3 of the stories - we could tell you so many more! But we are so overwhelmed with how God uses us & our prayer is that He will continue to use us to be the interface - to connect people to God!

We got home from Fall Tour on Nov 4 and since then we have been involved in music with First Assembly & their Sunday services, playing for our FMMC chapels, and we just finished West Florida Youth Convention in Laguna Beach, FL. It was a blast!

We are looking forward to a little break over Christmas & then we hit the road again in January! We would love for you to keep us in your prayers & keep in touch! Don't forget to listen to our FMMC chapel podcasts! Just go to www.fmmc.com to find it, or search FMMC on itunes!! Our music isn't always on there, but sometimes it will be....so check it out!

Love you all!
