Interface School of Worship

About

Since 2004, Interface has been the primary worship team at Fort Myers Master’s Commission. They have had the opportunity to travel the country leading thousands of people in worship, written and recorded five full-length worship albums of all original music, and have played at churches, camps, conventions, and school assemblies across America.

With the many opportunities God has blessed us with, we feel that it is our responsibility to help shape a generation of worshipers. It is with this heart that FMMC has decided to launch the Interface School of Worship.

The Interface School of Worship was created to train and develop worship leaders and musicians in 3 main areas: HEART, HEAD, and HANDS.

Courses

Head: Students will gain practical knowledge of a wide variety of subjects relating to music and worship. Topics such as songwriting, vocal and instrument technique, recording, live sound, along with many others will be covered.

Heart: Students will learn about character issues that every musician faces. Lessons will focus on issues ranging from pride and selfishness to excellence vs perfectionism. Through teaching, Bible study, and group discussion, students will learn God-honoring ways to handle these issues.

Hands: Students will be given the opportunity to apply the knowledge they gain through study to a real-world setting. Students will play weekly with the several different worship teams at FMMC. They will also be given projects that will include writing, arranging, and recording original music.
