F.A.Q.
How do I apply?
Easy! The quickest way to apply is online at fmmc.com. If you like to get mail, we would be happy to mail an application to you. Please e-mail, call, or write us (we like to get mail, too).
Can I come visit?
Yes! You are welcome to visit us anytime, and we can give you a tour, introduce you to our students and you can join us in our daily schedule. The best time to visit is during Unveiled – two days in the spring when students from all over the country come to experience life in FMMC. Please check our website for details about Unveiled, but come see us anytime that works for you!
Where do Master’s Commission students live?
Apartment life is convenient and fun. Thanks to God’s faithfulness through
First Assembly of God, we have some of the best housing of any MC in America. Four to six students live in an apartment and share a kitchen, bathroom and living room.
How much does Master’s Commission cost?
FMMC costs much less than private colleges. Since we have drastically reduced our tuition by over $1000 this year, we are in the middle of the pack in tuition price compared to other programs. Our price for the 2011/2012 school year is $7700 if you take the MBI college-level classes, or it is $6500 if you take the courses for credentials with the Assemblies of God.
What is included in the cost of tuition?
Your tuition covers your courses, books, housing, most meals, retreats, and stateside travel expenses. If you choose to go on an optional mission trip or on optional trip(s) to Starbucks, you will have to pay for those on your own.
Is there financial aid?
Unfortunately FMMC is not qualified to accept Federal Aid. We do, however, have a limited number of scholarships available. Please apply early for the best chance at getting a tuition discount! We also offer multiple payment plans for your convenience. Many students raise some of their tuition money by writing letters to get support from family, friends, their church and local businesses. If you do your part, we know that God will do His to provide for you! Click to download our Scholarship Brochure right HERE!
Will I be able to have a job?
The Master’s Commission weekly schedule and travel requirements do not allow enough time for any outside employment.
Will I need a vehicle?
Since our housing is on campus, a vehicle is recommended, but not required. Automobile insurance and a valid driver’s license are both required if you do decide to bring a vehicle.
When does the program start and finish?
Orientation will be on Saturday of Labor Day weekend, and graduation will be held on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Students will have a two-week break at Christmas.
How long does the application process take?
Once we have received all your application items, we will conduct two interviews. You should be notified within two weeks of your acceptance status.
